Btw, 2008 has been a neutral year for me unlike 2006 which was exciting and 2007- which was sorrow filled.

Looking forward for 2009 with lot of hopes..

I know I'm pretty late this time to wish my journal this yr. But I'm here to wish my journal a long life( a life as long as mine!)

I dont know how many of u have this, I check my personal mails every now and then; just like checking official mails when at work. When I want to focus on something while working on computers, I force myself to close the mailboxes. But they are automatically opened before I realise I'm opening them. I cannot wait for replies more than a day and I can't keep my replies pending more than a day. It hurts me :(. Shud I call this mailophebia or mailomaniac?
Anybody else suffering this kinda phebia out there?

a) whatever, u get, grass is greener on the other side
b) always u end up hurting the people u like the most
c) journey towards any destination is more fun than destination itself
d) hard work definitely pays, but not immediately, it cud be sometime-somewhere
e) eating chocolate is not good, but u always love to grab one
f) there is no point thinking of the past..there is no point worrying about the future..present is just a moment.. but how much can one think of just a moment called the present?

i realize all of u are telling, " Stop Realizing and Start Living!"
okie.. i am stopping here for now :)

I had totally forgotten that today is fool's day until just now when yahoo calendar reminded me of it.. I have always enjoyed fooling around on this day back in India.. After coming here, I forget to keep tab on such trivial but nice things of life..May be I am growing old ;)

Tomorrow, one of my friends here is going to have a surprise baby shower function..

Her parents are coming here on the 9th month..But when people wait for parents to reach here to conduct baby shower; most of the times baby is born before the shower!

So, my friend's hubby wants this function to happen for his dear wife..and he cannot wait for his in-laws to arrive.. so he is giving a surprise to his wife by making all arrangements for this function by himself at her sister's house close by..

He not only made arrangements such as lunch,decoration,games etc etc..but he has also invited all her friends without her knowledge by phone and email. Also, he made sure he invited her friends' spouses personally.. (whom he does not even know by name)

So,we r all gng to be there for the function half an hour before our friend arrives.. and she is gng to be thrown by surprise!!can't wait to see her reaction..

My friends' husband, who is a surprise fan, is waiting for the baby to be born to know if it is a boy or a girl.. and he is not letting my friend know it :( ..how can people wait thus far?

i like..

* crossing across the road when 100's of car are waiting for me to cross! but i have the priority being the pedestrian and they wait for me !! i feel like looking at the drivers of all the cars on the front and telling.. see, it is better to walk sometimes ;-)

* having ice cold coffee when the temperature is 50 degrees Farenheit..and walking on the road, with no over coats, no glows and no socks.. and like the looks people give at me..sometimes people ask, "where r u from? if u r from india esp south india, how is this possible?"

i wanna people's attention? or am i little crazy?

but i guess that's the typical me ;-)

This happened a few days back..

I have been leading a hibernated life for sometime now that I have no updates of what is happening in the world..

In this scenario..

I was going in the VTA( public transportaion here ). A Japanese lady came close to me and sat beside me; though all the other seats in the bus were empty. Was wondering abt her behavior.
Then she started talking to me. She first confirmed if I were an Indian. And then she asked,
"Will Tata launch the nano car in USA? Heard it is only $2500. It is affordable for middleclass like me. Your country is simply amazing!". She also explained all the intricate details of the car.

Surprised!Happy!Pround of India!

But also guilty coz i am living so out of date :(

2007 has been a terrible year for me with the biggest loss of my life-my dad! It is very hard for me to accept the fact that he is gone :( I am trying hard to recoup back to the original self- the cheerful self. But it is not easy for me. I find myself lost, most of the times.

Anyways, I am not here to bug u all with my sorrows. Wish u all have a great year!And slowly I will get back to the blogging mode. I am lost for the moment but u will definitely "FIND" me soon.

Tho' i am in sorrow, it will be unfair if i don't wish this page it's second b'day..
